Tim, thank you for covering this topic!

Green MBA programs (such as Presidio School of Management in San Francisco, Dominican University in San Rafael, and Bainbridge Graduate Institute in Washington State) are named such because they integrate sustainability into the CORE of their curriculum, not just as a few elective classes. In case your readers are wondering why these green MBA programs are NOT ranked by Beyond Grey Pinstripes, the reason is that their ranking system only recognizes the AACSB business schools.

Even though these green MBA programs have high quality faculty and curriculum and many of their graduates have successfully transformed their careers toward sustainable/green business, these schools have not yet reached AACSB status (and therefore cannot be ranked by Beyond Grey Pinstripes) usually because they haven't operated long enough to achieve accreditation requirements. If they were ranked, they would likely top the rankings on sustainable business Content, Student Opportunity, and Student Exposure, if not Faculty Research.

I would urge your readers looking into MBA programs to question whether these programs teach Ecological Economics, a framework for seeing the world that leads to sustainable business strategies.
